Newark, NJ (SportsNetwork.com) - Myke Henry collected 14 points and Billy Garrett posted 13 points and DePaul dispatched No. 24 Seton Hall by a 64-60 count on Thursday. Darrick Wood added 11 points while Rashaun Stimage had 10 points with seven rebounds for the Blue Demons (11-9, 5-2 Big East), who have won two in a row and four of their last six. Angel Delgado poured in 19 points and 19 boards for the Pirates (13-5, 3-3), who have dropped three of four since beating Villanova on Jan. 3. Khadeen Carrington picked up 12 points in a losing cause. Woods layup off a missed trey from Sterling Gibbs put DePaul on top to stay, 59-58, with 1:50 left in regulation. Jaren Sina then missed from long range and Stimage went to the line after being fouled on his missed layup. He split two from the line for a 60-58 game. Gibbs followed by missing a layup before Henry made 1-of-2 from the charity stripe and Delgados tip-in made it 61-60 with 24 ticks left. Wood and Stimage each split their four free-throw tries around a Stephane Manga turnover and Henry closed out the game with another make from the line. DePaul broke open a close game late in the first half, thanks to a 12-1 clip. Jamee Crockett began the run to give the visitors a 16-15 edge with 9:47 on the clock, then he later added a dunk and Henry finished it with four straight for a 26-16 lead with 6:38 left before intermission. The Blue Demons led 36-33 at the break and quickly extended the advantage up to 10 on a Stimage jumper. The Pirates came back with 12 in a row and led 45-43 on a Delgado three-point play. Seton Hall eventually gained separation and assumed a 55-47 lead with 5:49 to go after Sina sank a shot from long distance. In almost three minutes, however, DePaul whittled that deficit down to 56-55 on an Aaron Simpson free shot. Game Notes Neither team shot well from the floor, with Seton Halls 24-percent performance (7-of-29) in the second half dooming the hosts to a home setback ... DePaul connected on 37.5 percent (21-of-56) for the contest ... Gibbs missed all of his seven attempts from beyond the arc as the Pirates finished 1-of-16 as a team from long distance ... Crockett posted a game-high four steals. NFL Jerseys Wholesale . Kevin Martin and Kevin Love paced the Timberwolves like they do so often. Martin had 27 points with some key baskets down the stretch, Love had his usual double-double, and the Timberwolves snapped a three-game losing streak with a 112-106 victory Saturday night over the suddenly slipping Dallas Mavericks. Cheap NFL Jerseys . - Loosening up for their first training camp practice, the Miami Dolphins high-stepped sideways up and down the field while House of Pains song "Jump Around" blared on the loudspeakers. http://www.cheapnfljerseyschinafactory.com/ . The above paragraph could be rewritten, verbatim, with Marcus Stromans name in place of Romeros. After both men had disastrous outings in Tuesdays 18-4 mauling at the hands of the Tigers, its clear that neither is the best option to begin the season in Toronto. China Jerseys Chea . The alleged sexual assault is believed to have happened over the weekend of Feb. 1, when the hockey team was in Thunder Bay for two games against Lakehead University. The criminal investigation branch of the Thunder Bay Police Service is leading the investigation with help from Ottawa police.LAS VEGAS -- O.J. Simpsons lawyers submitted a supersized appeal to the Nevada Supreme Court, seeking the former football stars release from prison and a new trial in his 2007 Las Vegas armed-robbery case. The lawyers met a midnight Wednesday deadline to submit a request for the court to review Simpsons claim that 2008 trial in Las Vegas was tainted by his fame and notoriety following his 1995 acquittal in Los Angeles in the deaths of his ex-wife and her friend. However, the document totalled 19,993 words, court spokesman Michael Sommermeyer said Thursday. That was some 43 per cent longer than the 14,000-word limit the court had set. It will be up to the seven justices to decide whether to accept it for filing and consideration. Until that time, the document hasnt been made public. The court hasnt decided whether to hear oral arguments. Simpson, 66, is serving nine to 33 years in a northern Nevada prison after being found guilty of leading a group of armed men in a September 2007 confrontation with two sports memorabilia dealers at a Las Vegas casino hotel. He was convicted of kidnapping, armed robbery and other charges. Hes not eligible for parole until late 2017. The appeal stems from arguments rejected last year by Clark County District Judge Linda Marie Bell that Simpsons trial attorney botched Simpsons trial and first appeal to the state Supreme Court, the only appeals court in Nevada. Simpson attorney Patricia Palm said the apppeal ran long because she and attorneys Ozzie Fumo and Tom Pitaro were responding in detail to the judges Nov.dddddddddddd. 26 ruling, which totalled 101 pages. Palm said the state high court routinely accepts oversized filings in complex cases. She also submitted 36 appendices to the appeal brief. Bells ruling came after she held five days of hearings in Las Vegas on a 94-page petition that Palm filed in May 2012 seeking a new trial on 22 possible grounds. The judge said she reviewed the entire Simpson court record and determined that evidence was overwhelming that Simpson orchestrated the armed kidnapping and robbery, and that Simpsons current attorneys failed to demonstrate how his former lawyers actions changed the outcome of the case. Clark County District Attorney Steve Wolfson said he was confident that Bells ruling would be upheld. Wolfsons wife, former Clark County District Judge Jackie Glass, presided over Simpsons 2008 trial and sentencing. Simpson claimed he was trying to retrieve from the memorabilia dealers items that had been stolen from him after his Los Angeles trial and a 1997 civil court a wrongful-death judgment that put him on the hook for $33.5 million to the estates his ex-wife, Nicole Brown Simpson, and her friend, Ron Goldman. The NFL hall of famer testified last year that he thought he had a right to get his own belongings back, and he never knew any of the men with him were carrying guns. ' ' '
